چکیده

The predominant use of FBG sensors to characterize the residual stress state in composite materials date does not permit absolute strain measurements. reason for this is loss connection between sensor and laminate during phase transitions resin. Thus, points significant changes measurement signal (e.g. bonding temperature) need be used evaluation. For fiber metal laminates (FML) however, gages applied layer allow measurements since behaves purely elastic over entire manufacturing process. Hence, stresses an FML are quantified directly. Despite being layer, it shown that cure resin can still analyzed by coefficient thermal expansion. effects different modifications cycle assessed terms reduction. It assuming temperature equal stress-free results a conservative estimation state. gage good agreement with data combined experiment.
